She didn't even get a name: she was Golden Retriever #142. But we remember her as Goldie. The #USDA knew about her suffering- even documented it- but did nothing to save her. We are hoping to amend 1966's #AnimalWelfareAct to make sure that the USDA has to do their job of reporting all cruelty cases so that no other animals have to die like Goldie did.
