@hypedrive: If you did a double-take just now, we don't blame you – there's a very rare Nissan Skyline R33 GT-R Autech up for auction.
@carsandbids has this highly unique Nissan Skyline GT-R Autech for sale, a four-door variant that's an official GT-R from 1998. The Autech Version was released in 1998 as a 40th anniversary commemoration of the Skyline badge. Since all other R33 GT-Rs were two-door only, this Autech has specifically re-designed rear doors to account for the GT-R's widebody aesthetic. Beyond the doors and the bucket-style rear seats however, everything else is true to the more common coupé – the engine is the 2.6L RB26DETT inline-six, the transmission is the same 5-speed manual, and even the four-wheel drive system is identical to the standard GT-R.
The imported US-legal Nissan Skyline R33 GT-R Autech Version has two days left in its auction, and currently priced at $50,000 USD.
