ad So this week is World Breastfeeding Week, and to all the Breastfeeding women past and present: I need your help! 🤱🏼🙏 @Lansinohfamily have shared some rather interesting and worrying statistics with me. ⬇️

They've noticed a huge shift in women's perception of breastfeeding in public over the last few years.

Between 2014 – 2021, their research showed that women were becoming more positive about feeding in public. But since 2021, concerns about breastfeeding in public have increased 26%. To put that into context: that means an estimated 83,000 new mums across the UK could be impacted by these worries. 🥺❤️

So we want to reverse the results of this research - we want to normalise public feeding and we want to empower women across the UK to FEED WITH CONFIDENCE. We want to encourage women to TAKE BACK CONTROL and feel confident feeding their baby whenever they have to. 🤱🏼💪✨❤️

In my time breastfeeding, I'd say that the majority of people are so supportive and leave you to it. I've had one incident when I was in a public space and a member of staff asked me to move to the public loos. I asked him if he'd like to eat his food there. I'm also surprised when people online comment when I feed my baby. I'm just giving her food. It should be unremarkable. 🤷🏼‍♀️

So to my breastfeeding ladies - I challenge you to capture photos of yourselves proudly feeding in public. Share them on your social channels and let's show other mums that feeding your baby is totally normal whenever and WHEREVER they're hungry.
