Wade. The decision, issued by Judge Jessica Mangrum, is sure to be challenged, but it temporarily protects doctors who provide abortions to patients whose pregnancies will not survive. Judge Mangrum also found Texas’s original abortion ban, SB8, unconstitutional. “Now people don’t have to be pregnant and scared in Texas anymore,” lead plaintiff Amanda Zurawski, above, said today.
