When something as simple as having kind neighbors showing up with yummy food makes you feel like you just won the Olympics, I think it’s time to pause and be grateful for such a wonderful season of life. (Comparing that to years of internal turmoil and sadness) It’s easy to get tangled in life’s struggles, but it’s during those times that really show you how the simplest gestures and moments should be embraced and seen.
