I haven’t had a lot of time to reply to comments from my last 2 posts both on Facebook & here because I’ve been working two jobs, but I want you to know, I have read every single one and I’m so touched by the kindness, encouragement, & understanding you’ve shown, as well as those of you who shared w/ me that my openness has really helped you! It was more important to me to show you that things are not always what they seem behind all the accounts you follow so if you are going through something tough, that you know a lot of us are too so you don’t look at these accounts like we have amazing lives with no mess. Sometimes it’s messier than you think behind the scenes, and I needed everyone to know they are not alone. Those of you who have been following Venus for the past 11 years know that I have rarely shown my face and mostly that’s because I want to keep it all about Venus & am a little on the shy side (introverted extrovert) but as I work through this chapter, and decided to share my personal struggles, I felt this makes it more personal. I don’t even have a personal Instagram and never have, only my pet accounts. I also hardly ever take selfie’s but on my way to work yesterday I felt this would be a nice way to show my love & appreciation (and no, no filter or editing…this is the natural lighting in my vehicle with the sunroof shade open lol). Anyway, thank you all so much again and please continue to support each other in the comments if you see someone who could use some words of encouragement. We are a community, and it takes a village, even if that village is online. You never know how one comment might just change that person’s day! I feel so blessed to have this community of people.
