FW23 “Twilight Reverie” was, at the time, Wales Bonner’s most extravagant and established show. It followed on from her Pitti Uomo offering, doubling down on the opulence (being held in Paris’ Hôtel D’Évruex), the study of representations of Black male sexuality and identity, and of course, it looked heavily at her cultural influences, combing her British and Jamaican heritage to deliver designs for all. ⁠

Tailoring comes in the subtle form of a double-breasted blazer and matching wide-fitting “Ivory”-hued slacks, cut in a textured cotton viscose blend for the perfect all-year-round texture and sophistication.⁠

On the other end of the spectrum, the Motif jumper in “Ivory/Navy” relies on collegiate undertones while managing to feel adult and luxurious, much like the Kola tracktop, black-and-yellow knit rib top, and the City polo.
