NARA YOUNさんのインスタグラム動画 - (NARA YOUNInstagram)「Here’s some #SPLAT and #MACROPHAGE Animation I did on Disney’s #STRANGEWORLD . I was only on StrangeWorld for two months so I didn’t get to animate much, but I was so happy I got to animate Creatures for a change. Here Splat is trying to wake up his Macrophage buddies to tell them “Wake up! I brought you food!”. Splat has this really cool but complex rotate-able rig with a bunch of small antennas and tentacles that allows us to have him walk and crawl on his side, upside down, backwards, any way we need him to. Because he was such a challenging character to work on I tried to get my ideas fleshed out in 2D as much as possible before diving in 3D. The deadly Macrophages lay like corn kernels in their Jelly like sacks while they are on standby. A deadly anemone like creature with a mouth for an opening with a whole bunch of tentacles folded in that act as arms and legs. This was an extra challenge for me as I had never animated characters standing sideways on a wall before. Lots of fun first time challenges. Huge thanks to @welcome_to_louieville who supervised Splat and guided me through this sequence. StrangeWorld 에서는 총 두 달 동안만 작업해서 많은 애니메이션을 할 수 없었지만, 생물 애니메이션을 할 수 있어서 정말 좋았습니다. 여기서 ‘스플랫’은 사람을 대리고와서 우리 몸의 백혈구 같은 존제의 ‘마크로패지’ 친구들을 먹이려고 잠에서 깨우려고 하는데, 데리고 온 사람이 깨우는동안 벌써 어디로 가버려서 당황하며 다시 찾기 시작하는 장면입니다. Splat은 어느 방향 (위, 밑, 옆, 뒤집어, 거꾸로) 서서 다닐 수 있는 생물이라 회전 가능한 복잡한 리그를 가지고 있는데, 작은 안테나와 길이를 마음데로 조절 할 수 있는 7 개의 텐타클로 다리/팔/머리를 구별할 수 있게 하는게 애니메이션 포인트였습니다. 정말 복잡한 캐릭터라 최대한 2D 방향으로 아이디어를 탐구했죠. 백혈구 Macrophage들은 이 장면에서 먹은 음식을 소화하며 낮잠(?😅) / 대기 중입니다. 얘들은 집이 거꾸로 매달린 옥수수 같은 존잰데, 사냥을 하지 않을때나 먹은 음식을 소화 할때는 이 옥수수 집으로 와 자거나 대기합니다. 입구 하나 가 있는 젤리 주머니에 10개의 문어 같은 다리들이 혀같이 뭉쳐있는 생물인데 아주 치명적인 사냥 생물이죠. 이 장면에는 또 캐릭터들이 다들 벽에 옆으로 서서 연기를 하고 있어 좀 골치 아팠답니다. 🫠 정말 재미있는 도전이 많은 장면들이었습니다. 짧은 기간이었지만 이 쇼에서 생물 애니메이션을 하면서 도전 의식을 불러일으켜 정말 기뻤습니다. 👽 #디즈니 #디즈니애니메이션 #디즈니애니메이터 #애니메이션 #윤나라애니메이터 #윤나라애니메이션 #Disney #disneyanimation #animation #3danimation #disneyanimator #disneyplus #creatureanimation #biology」8月15日 3時00分
