The Final Days of Georgian Nomads
The Georgian photographer has been observing and exploring the village communities of Adjara, one of the outstanding mountainous regions of Georgia. Old traditions and nomadic lifestyles are still alive there, but the difficult social and economical conditions are bringing increasing changes to the area. People are moving away; whole villages lie abandoned; and ancient traditions are gradually disappearing.
