Do you worry about how to care for your John Smedley Extrafine Merino Wool?

This is one of the most asked questions we receive via our social media and customer services department.

Here is a quick guide:
1) Turn the garment inside out to protect the outer surface.
2) Use a machine-washable wool program, usually a 30°C gentle cycle.
3) Use a mild detergent – preferably Woolmark approved.
4) Always dry away from heat, never on a radiator, in front of a fire, or in strong direct sunlight.
5) Remove surface soiling with gentle brushing and treat stains immediately with cold water, using a clean cloth to blot dry, never a paper towel.
6) Store folded with fresh cedar blocks or mothballs.
