Hello everyone, @dylanjg here to share some of my illustration and printmaking work with you!

I work as a full time artist splitting my time pretty much straight down the middle doing freelance illustration work for clients and creating prints, t-shirts, and other fun products for my own shop, @doggonestudios . My go to subject matter is, yeah you guessed it, dogs, but really I love drawing all animals!

Here’s a quick three slide glimpse of my process creating this Desert Animal linocut series. For my relief prints, I like to have a tight pen sketch that I can transfer to the block and reference as I carve. I’m carving linoleum for these, but often use MDF (medium density fiberboard) for larger pieces. After printing these, I added hand drawn white highlights with a Gelly Roll pen as a finishing touch.
