My first collaboration with @judsonstudios in 2018, Portals, represented an innovation in the world of glass. Under my direction, we pioneered a new way to cut and assemble fused glass by using digital tools and waterjet cutting. Our newest project, Jellyfish Portal, pushes that technique even further to the literal edge of breaking, resulting in our thinnest and most delicate lines yet out of dichroic glass. After firing, the edges of the dichroic glass soften and create a beautiful 3d effect as it appears to float within the fused glass and shifts in color from green to blue to ochre.
