Bad Bunny is walking the well-blazed path to hyphenated actor—like Beyoncé and J.Lo and Elvis before him.
After his stint as a machete-wielding Mexican assassin in ‘Bullet Train,’ Bad Bunny says he’s ready to take on tamer roles. “I’m not one to watch a lot of action movies,” Martínez tells VF. “I would really like to play other kinds of things, like a little bit more drama, romance too, or comedy.”
His casting in Marvel’s ‘El Muerto’ was bound to cement him as a movie star, but after languishing in production limbo, the studio pulled the project from its release calendar—crushing Martínez’s dream role. “I don’t know what to say,” Martínez says of the film, calling the issue “delicate.”
