O time norte-americano, Kerri Walsh e Misty May-Treanor, é o maior vencedor de Campeonatos Mundiais(Copa do Mundo), com 3 títulos, sendo Rio de Janeiro 2003, Berlim 2005 e Gstaad 2007. Aliás, elas são as únicas tricampeãs, incluindo feminino e masculino.
Walsh e May-Treanor ainda conquistaram uma medalha de prata, na edição de Roma 2011, quando foram derrotadas por Larissa e Juliana, do Brasil. Incríveis!
