The hardest life experiences

It felt like they crumpled me

Like I was finished

Or so my mind said.

But after my mind was done

I was still alive

And in the silence of my done-for mind

For the first time I could hear
the whispers of Life

Who speaks not in words

Only nudges the heart

She nudged me forward

A minute at a time

And called me using big dreams

Something worth living for
