ウォルト・ディズニー・アニメーション・スタジオズのインスタグラム(disneyanimation) - 9月20日 21時08分
Kansas City, Missouri, may best be known in animation circles as the childhood home of Walt Disney, but it also helped shape the early life and career of animator Marshall Toomey, who admits that he followed in Walt’s footsteps unknowingly.
Both men were fascinated with cartoons from an early age and drew constantly. Both had fathers who worked for local newspapers (Walt’s father made him work the paper route while Marshall’s brought home paper for him to draw on). Both attended McKinley High School and art classes at the Kansas City Art Institute. Finally, both got their start creating animation for local advertising companies.
