There are some silver linings too.⁣ ⁣ Maybe the most important one is that; I would’ve never met such amazing, good hearted, kind, caring, beautiful people had it not been for me getting this sick. Some of the people who have supported me the most came into my life after my injuries, and have continued to give me so much support, encouragement and love 🫶🏻 ⁣ Getting incredibly ill has also shown me who my real friends are. It’s sad that it has to take somebody getting really sick to realize that, but it’s true that you see a person’s true colors when you are no longer beneficial to their lives.⁣ ⁣ When I’m better, I want to surround myself with nothing but kind, supportive and caring people. And more than anything —I want to give back, because I know how much it means. When someone fights for you, you feel like you can fight on a little longer. It can save a life, like it has mine. ⁣ ⁣ A person who is extremely ill CANNOT get enough support. So thank you to those of you who never give up on the the ones who suffer in silence.
