Visited RomeEXPO before my show in Romania.

Thousands of people who were forced to flee Ukraine come to this facility everyday. UNHCR is providing life-saving support in cooperation with WHO, UNICEF, IOM and other NGO partners.

As the war in Ukraine still remains, the urgency and the humanitarian support from the global community must grow.

Respect to all the UNHCR Romania and all the NGO staff for the hard work and big appreciation to Romanian government and local community for your open hearts and such a warm and generous support for the people from Ukraine.

ルーマニアでの公演の前に、
ウクライナからの避難民の方々が訪れる場所へ来ました。

昨年の３月以降、
この場所には支援を求め
毎日何千人もの人々が訪れます。

(動画の中でボードに書かれている数字が
去年から日々避難してくる人々の数です。)

ニュースで見る機会は少し減ったかもしれないけど
まだまだ紛争は続いていて
家族とはなればなれで暮らす子供たちや
仕事をすることすら許されない方々がたくさんいます。

これからくる冬に備え
より一層の国際的人道支援が必要とされています。

現地で日夜サポートにあたる UNHCR および連携するNGO団体パートナーのみなさん、そしてルーマニア政府および現地のホストコミュニティの方々の大きな心とその寛大さに感謝します。
