We spoke with Ukrainian women who had to flee their homes for safety. I was inspired by the incredible strength of the Ukrainian refugees I met and also by the warmth of the people of Moldova, who have welcomed them with open arms. Madame President was so informed on every detail of the response in her country, I felt proud to give them support. And I hold the deepest prayer that peace can be returned to the region, and the Ukrainian people can return home. Thank you to everyone I met who shared their story and their warmth. It was such a moving trip.
