I’m so humbled by her sensitivity and understanding, even down to the venue choice: The Church of Mary Magdalene, a woman who Linder saw as my parallel in history. It’s rare for me to approach someone I respect and admire without the thoughts in the forefront of my mind telling me to explain away any previous connotation they’ve formed of me- and I never once felt that with Linder. I’m HONORED to have been a collage subject because for the longest time, I was manifesting simply owning one of her works (I’ll share more of that with y’all tomorrow bc it’s just so beautiful to see delusions come true in tenfolds and I could only fit so much in this post).
