I’ve been testing this camera for the past month and have packed it in my bag on trips to NYC, Singapore, Seattle, and Switzerland. 🌎 My early thoughts? It’s awesome. The Sofort 2 is a hybrid instant film camera that packs so many amazing new features - a digital screen, 10 lenses, landscape and macro modes… the list goes on and on. There’s also internal memory as well as a microSD card slot, USB-C, a built-in optional flash, and a manual lever that you pull to begin printing. Not only can you select the images you want to print, but you can also print photos taken with other Leica cameras through the FOTOS app. For those who are lens-focused, the Sofort 2 has a 28mm-equivalent lens with a f/2 to f/16 variable aperture, a 10cm minimum focus, and auto exposure control 🙌 (which makes such a big difference in terms of making sure your prints have the correct brightness). The Sofort 2 releases globally on November 9th.
