This is hopeful news for Endangered greater gliders that call this critical habitat home. @WWF_Australia, Wilderness Australia and South East Forest Rescue recently conducted surveys after discovering Forestry Corp of NSW had been logging in Tallaganda State Forest - one of the last remaining strongholds of greater gliders. Their surveys found there would have been about 10,000 greater glider den trees present before logging began. Thousands have already been destroyed, and thousands more are at risk of being cut down if the planned logging goes ahead.
