Our girl’s served as junior ambassadors and Bruce, always the biggest supporter of whatever we are passionate about. I loved taking this trip down memory lane, looking at all the pictures through our special Room to Grow years. From our biannual lemonade stand, to making baby blankets with friends and their children, to the donation drives we hosted at our home. It was truly very meaningful to our family. Where my efforts have shifted my admiration for the impactful work Room to Grow does for their family’s has never wavered. This year marks their 25th anniversary and am honored to be called back to be an “Anniversary Ambassador.” Room to Grow is a nonprofit focused on offering structured coaching, essential baby and toddler items, and community connections to support parents as they activate their strengths and expand their knowledge so children thrive from the start. For 25 years, Room to Grow has promoted equity and opportunity in low-income communities through integrated, two-generation support for the whole family during a child’s earliest years.
