Exactly one year ago, I had the privilege of holding ‘THE FLOWER BOX EXHIBITION IN DAZAIFU’ at the beautiful Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine and Kamado Shrine.
Visitors were able to enjoy hundreds of flower artworks that were displayed throughout the serene shrine grounds and a special exhibition inside the Bunshokan.
Each floral art piece at the exhibition found its inspiration from the flower box, resulting in many diverse expressions.
The shrine actually has a rich history rooted in centuries-old traditions, particularly in the realm of education, and with its cultural richness and tranquility, it added another layer of depth to the exhibition.
Holding this exhibition at such a unique place was truly an honor and an unforgettable experience.

ちょうど一年前、福岡県にある太宰府天満宮、宝満宮竈門神社にて 'THE FLOWER BOX EXHIBITION IN DAZAIFU' を開催しました。
文書館や屋外にて、生誕20年を迎えたフラワーボックスをテーマにした100以上ものフラワーアート作品を展示し、多くのお客様にご来場いただきました。
国内外から注目を浴びる歴史あるこの太宰府天満宮、宝満宮竈門神社を舞台に私の作品を数多く展示できたことは、本当に嬉しく色褪せることない一生の思い出です。
