Someone is incredibly happy to be home. The doctors did not prescribe any special foods, just want me to make sure that he a eats wet food, even if it's kibble soaked in whatever (cat dad went and got chicken and beef broth made for cats)
He'll be on gabapentin for now, possibly for a while to make sure his anxiety levels are not too high. They're saying this is feline idiopathic cystitis, one of the causes happens to be a multi cat household, who knew 😑 Anyway, there are plenty of other causes which can actually be addressed and we will be doing those things. Good news is that he peed just fine when he got home, and ate a ton of wet food. We'll be watching for anything weird for a while, and doing everything in our power to make sure it doesn't reoccur. Since I have 7 boys, everyone is getting this new treatment. If you don't hear from me, it means that Jesse killed me.
