Looking back on John’s performance at London’s Royal Albert Hall in 1970. The performance was just days after the Beatles announced their breakup and John/CCR in only 12 months had achieved three top 10 albums and five top 10 singles, including “Proud Mary,” “Bad Moon Rising,” “Down On The Corner/Fortunate Son,” “Lookin’ Out My Back Door/Long As I Can See The Light,” and “Green River” all written by John.

This performance was recorded and later released on John/CCR’s “At The Royal Albert Hall” album released last fall.
