The past couple of months have been challenging - trips to the hospital, work trips cut short, sleepless nights, worry, stress, anxiety, guilt, hardly time to shower or brush our teeth. Poor little Jesse has quite a severe case of reflux, which means simply feeding causes him distress, and that means he can’t sleep. We’re all running on empty, and I can’t help but feel that Margot is becoming collateral damage as we put out his fires. But, I write this as Sarah’s brother has arrived to help. Both our mum’s have been here, too. We have friends and family stepping up to offer their ears, time, and support, and neither Sarah or I have ever felt so cared for. It fills my heart to know the lengths our people will go to for us and our children.
