NSW produces 800,000 tonnes of plastic each year and only 12% of that is recycled.
The EPA and NSW Government have teamed up with Taronga Zoo to announce the arrival of our NSW Plastics: Next Steps paper.
This paper seeks consultation on the next steps to reduce unnecessary plastic in NSW.
Consultation is now open until the 4th of February 2024.
