Why is everyone so fascinated with the big balls of New York City? 🐂🤷🏽‍♂️

The “Charging Bull” or sometimes called the “Wall Street Bull,” located in the Financial District of Manhattan, New York City. Created by artist Arturo Di Modica, it’s an iconic bronze statue symbolizing financial optimism and prosperity.

The act of touching or holding the bull’s testicles is a more recent phenomenon, and it’s somewhat based on superstition and folklore. Some believe that touching or rubbing the bull’s testicles will bring good luck, especially financial luck. Over time, this act has become a popular ritual for tourists, leading to the common sight of people standing in line to take a photo with, or touch, that particular part of the statue.

It’s worth noting that while the bull is a popular tourist attraction, not everyone is aware of the lore behind touching its testicles, and many simply want a photo with the iconic statue without any particular ritual in mind.
