She believes that without the blood transfusion, her recovery would have been much worse. Because of this scary encounter, she was inspired to give back through @IndianaRedCross blood drives, and she signs up to give blood any time there is an opportunity to donate. “It’s just one of those things that can make such a difference for someone else, and it takes little effort from you,” Christina said. “People never think something will happen to them. I certainly didn’t when I was having my daughter. It was my first child and I had no idea what to expect.
