Isn’t it funny that who we were when we were little never really goes away? Sure, we shift and evolve and grow over time, but the older I get the more I see my younger self in me.

I loved nothing more than reading through piles of books, watching movies, and always imagining myself becoming a character in them. Living in the past in a world lit only by candlelight or else in some fantastical world. Dress up was my favorite game. And isn’t it funny that that love of playing with new looks and characters has evolved into my biggest creative outlet as an adult? Expressed through photos and videos and the little worlds that I still like to dream up.

I know I’m far from alone in this. How do you see who you were as a child in your adult self? I’d love to know.
