🇫🇷🇯🇵森下陸幕長は、１１月５日（日）～１１月９日（木）の間、フランス共和国を公式訪問しました。今次訪問では、シル陸軍参謀長、ジロ軍事大臣官房長との懇談や部隊訪問等を行い、力による一方的な現状変更の試みを許容せず、法の支配に基づく国際秩序を維持するため、日仏の一層の連携が重要であるとの認識で一致しました。本年９月に日仏陸軍種初となる定期的な二国間共同訓練「ブリュネ・タカモリ」を開催する等、日仏陸軍種関係が強化される中、今次訪問を契機としてより一層強固な二国間関係を構築します。

🇫🇷🇯🇵GEN Morishita, Chief of Staff, JGSDF, made an official visit to the French Republic from Nov. 5 to 9. During this visit, he had talks with GEN Schill, Chief of the French Army, and LTG Giraud, Head of the Military Private Office of the Minister of the Armed Forces, and made units’ observation. They agreed that unilateral attempts to change the status quo by force should not be tolerated and JPN-FRA collaboration is vital to maintain international order based on the rule of law. The first regular JPN-FRA bilateral exercise, “Brunet Takamori,” was held by the JGSDF and the French Army last September. Japan will strengthen relationships further with France through this visit, while the relationships b/w the JGSDF and the French Army has been enhanced.

🇫🇷🇯🇵Le Chef d’Etat-Major des Forces Terrestres d’Autodéfense, le GAR Morishita, a effectué une visite officielle en France du dimanche 5 novembre au jeudi 9 novembre. A cette occasion, il s‘est entretenu avec le CEMAT, le GA Schill, et le chef du cabinet militaire du Ministre des Armées, le GCA. Giraud. Il a aussi rendu visite à des soldats et a convenu que la coopération entre le Japon et la France était importante pour maintenir l’ordre international fondé sur l’Etat de droit afin d’empêcher les tentatives unilatérales de modifier le statu quo par la force. Alors que les relations entre les forces terrestres d’autodéfense japonaises et les armées françaises se renforcent, avec notamment l’exercice Brunet-Takamori, le premier exercice bilatéral entre le Japon et la France qui s’est déroulé en septembre de cette année, la visite est une opportunité pour renforcer encore les relations bilatérales.
