The River Fund, one of New York’s leading poverty frontline centers, serves our neighbors right here in Queens. Through a weekly food pantry, education program, and a benefits center ~ its mission is to help break the cycle of poverty, and that’s exactly what they are doing. I’ve witnessed it first hand. Melissa and I co-chaired the gala this year and helped raise almost $1 million dollars ~ which will help make the next year of service possible for this impactful charity.
