From racesuits to team-wear, race cars to support vehicles, each element bore the mark of impeccable design and branding. ‌ My father sketched the Japanese crane (‘tsuru’) logo when one of his racing friends he likened my father to a 'tsuru' with the distinctive red dot on his helmet. Just before getting onto the grid, my father he stuck his sketch on his race-car and he ended up winning the race.
