The cosiest cake: delicious spiced carrot and apple 🍎

Top tip: don’t skimp on the cinnamon here, it really brings a lovely warming quality to this recipe

For me, the great thing about this cake is that it’s not overly sweet, so it lends itself well to acting as a loaf. You can add anything you fancy: honey, syrup, jam, or - my personal favourite, a thick helping of butter 🧈

Here, I’m enjoying the cake as is, but you can also add spoonfuls of cream cheese frosting and drizzle with salted butter caramel for more of a showstopper - see my latest reel for this version ✨
