“So much of my practice utilizes color, high-contrast texture—and a lot of optimism,” says ELLE DECOR A-List designer Oliver Furth (@olivermfurth). “Smart, sophisticated people are catching on that color can be luxurious and joyful.” The designer recently found his kindred spirits in a Los Angeles couple who wanted the interiors of their residence to feel welcoming, unpretentious, and—yes—include plenty of color. Furth used virtually every crayon in his box. Here in the library, a vintage salmon-pink Carlo de Carli settee is accompanied by a pair of tangerine @mmariomilana lounge chairs. The handwoven Moroccan rug by @beni_rugs helps warm up the space.
