RIP, Shane MacGowan.

The legendary Pogues frontman has died, aged 65, after a long period of ill health.

This photo, by @benrayner, was on the cover of the magazine back in 2008. In the interview inside that issue, Shane was asked if there were any moments in his life he didn’t care to remember.

“No! I remember all of it,” he said. “And I liked all of it—even all the bad stuff that happened. That was all OK as well.”
