@NIKE wants you to “Do It Yourself" with its new offering with @ritdye.
The Shibori Tie-Dye Kit provides the tools to express creativity and create something totally unique. Each set comes with a men’s or women’s Nike sail hoodie, a bottle of Rit indigo liquid dye, thread and needle, square blocks, gloves, bands, and an assortment of heat-applied patches.
The accompanying DIY instructional guide also outlines three Shibori techniques, kumo, commonly known as the spider technique, wood clamping with itajime, and ori nui, a combination of stitch and fabric arrangement.
The kit will be available for purchase on December 12 on Nike’s website and on the SNKRS app.
