Sandra Day O’Connor, the first woman to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court and a justice for nearly 25 years, has died. She was 93. O’Connor was a trailblazing politician, known for her deciding votes in a number of significant cases, including a 1992 decision affirming Roe v. Wade.
