In 2018, something unthinkable happened.

Cedric Lodge, the manager of a morgue at Harvard Medical School, and his wife allegedly started selling pieces of donated bodies meant for science. Instead of being studied by Ivy League students suited up in surgical gowns and latex gloves, donors were traded like baseball cards, and their body parts were snuck out of the morgue and sold to a dark and ghastly corner of the oddities world.

“Grave robbing has been going on for centuries,” a founding member of the Morbid Anatomy Museum said. “The Harvard incident exposed the black market once again.”
