The same week that my Dad passed away, Divinity premiered at Sundance. It was such a bittersweet moment for me.. mourning and wanting to celebrate, not knowing if it was the wrong thing to do to attend, yet knowing that it was a dream and goal of mine to have a film premiere at the festival.. looking back it all feels like a blur as I was just pushing through.. but wow what a cool moment to be there. The hardest part was knowing my Dad would’ve loved this weird and beautiful film. Divinity is by far one of the most interesting and coolest projects I’ve ever done, let alone to be a part of a Steven Soderbergh production.. biggest thank you @eddiealcazar for allowing me to bring Nikita to life, you are a genius!
