In the past few weeks, it was repeatedly reported that superstar Kim Soo Hyun is set to make a comeback in the small screen via a drama which was also written by the same person who wrote "You Who came from the Stars."

Actor and variety show star Cha Tae Hyun was the first to be confirmed to do the drama and later actress Gong Hyo Jin and singer IU were added to the cast.
Now, there were reports that Kim Soo Hyun did not accept the offer to star in the "Producer," the said drama's working title. His agency allegedly denied that Kim Soo Hyun is confirmed to act in the drama project.
Then again, things have gotten confusing as in the following days, there were news that Kim Soo Hyun has accepted the role. So, what's the truth?
Well, in the latest statement from Key East Entertainment, Kim Soo Hyun is indeed now part of the drama. His addition really made the casting of the new drama, very star-studded!
Moreover, with the news that he finally confirmed to be in the new series, fans - in and outside of South Korea - are rejoicing for they would see him again often on the small screen. But not just the fans, the cast and production team of the drama are very excited as well.
Further, the four leading cast members (Cha Tae Hyun, Kim Soo Hyun, Gong Hyo Jin, and IU) expressed their great confidence in the writer and they totally believe in the drama. As a matter of fact, Kim Soo Hyun and Gong Hyo Jin were said to have willingly lowered their fees as their interest in the drama were really great.
"Producer" is set to air on April 17!
