Great news: the doctors were successful in getting Gus's heart rate down to a reasonable 140-150 bpm. I will pick him up at around 5pm. They are doubling his daily sotalol dose, and the effects of that will be settled in about 2 weeks. He will go back at that point for another ultrasound and a 24 hour Holter monitoring. I'd like to thank you all for sharing and donating, your generosity had made this a much easier day. I've suspended donations because I think it's covered at this point. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I'm not sure what I'd do without this special little weirdo. I'll post when I get him home.
