So for the second Monday in a row, all we did was worry about Gus all day. Last night he barfed, and then was just not himself. He wouldn't eat and he just wanted to hide. I checked his heartbeat repeatedly and it's fine. He's not running a fever like the last couple of times he was sick. (He seems to get sick every spring, not including his heart issues) After I gave him his pills this morning, he ate a little bit and then hid in the closet until lunchtime. I decided if he hadn't significantly improved by the time I got home from work, I'd take him to UCD. Fortunately, he's quite a bit better this evening. Two of the things I check for when he's not feeling well are purring and meowing, both of which he does constantly. He had not stopped purring for me, but no meowing until tonight. He ate a little bit and I'm giving him the forbidden Temptations because he gobbles them up. He will be going for his follow up appointment later this week, and that includes a follow up blood test in addition to all the heart related stuff. I'm hoping it's just a little bug and he'll be even better tomorrow. #BabyJeGus
