Jackson Harriesさんのインスタグラム写真 - (Jackson HarriesInstagram)「A few months ago @aliceaedy and I started working on a film about the loneliness epidemic amongst young people in the UK. We set up an answer phone where young people across the country could leave anonymous voicemails talking about their experiences. We received over 6 hours of voice messages. The responses were honest, articulate and moving. What surprised us most was the constant theme of being surrounded by people, but still feeling alone. So many of us feel lonely, despite being more ‘connected’ than ever before. The result is a 15 minute film called ‘Disconnected'. We used actors to build abstract dramatisations recorded on 16mm and filmed in Blackpool, that play against the audio of these real testimonies. The film is directed by Alice and is her first ever short film!! Last weekend we had a chance to screen it to our closest friends and family and we were overjoyed to receive so many positive responses. We’re currently in the process of submitting to festivals and hope to share it online within the next year.
