This day is always the hardest day of the year for me. There is no ache like the ache you live with once you lose your dad. I know many of you can relate, unfortunately. My dad was the most incredible man. He was my hero. He was the greatest example to me of how to live with integrity. He was honest and kind. He was committed and loyal. He worked his entire life just to provide for his family. He was selfless and loving and kind and far too young to die. Colon cancer took him at the age of 54. I have survived almost 8 years without him. I miss him so much. Especially today. Happy Fathers Day to my hero and the most amazing father that ever lived. I love you so much dad. ❤️

cichcat I know your pain. My Dad was 45 when he died of lung cancer, 9 days after diagnosis. I was 15 years old. Yesterday was my 51st Father's Day without him. The hole in your heart never heals.

drmandyg I’m sorry for your loss, but I can also relate. Lost my dad 7 months ago to melanoma at age 58. Definitely has left a hole in my heart. ❤️
