We had our longest break in the early afternoon before our last session of the day. ⠀ I will always remember the time I spent with Denis and his mother on these breaks. I am not sure when, but one day I decided to switch up my regular routine of going to Starbucks on my breaks and instead went to Coffee Bean. Often, I would see Denis and his mom there. I didn't want to bother him when he was with his family, so I sat by myself initially. One day, Denis invited me to sit with him. ⠀ We continued to meet there for the rest of the week, and this became our new routine. Whoever got there first grabbed the table and waited for the others. We rarely talked about skating, just about life. Denis often left me in stitches from laughing so hard, and I always started my last session in a great mood because of him. ⠀ He was an incredible training mate, but an even better friend. It was an honor to get to know him both on and off the ice. His passing was a devastating loss for the entire skating community. He is so missed”. ⠀ @graciegold95」6月14日 21時50分
