In the late ’80s and early ’90s, the HIV/AIDS activism group ACT UP (@actupny) organized numerous protests across New York City. At the forefront of these protests was Peter Staley (@staleypr), an American activist who learned he was HIV-positive in the ‘80s. He has since gone on to dedicate his work to support those living with HIV/AIDS, and was also the subject of the 2012 Oscar-nominated documentary, How To Survive A Plague. In a new Vogue video, Staley sat down with the pop singer Troye Sivan (@トロアイ・シヴァン) to discuss each other’s work within the LGBTQ+ community.
