I’ve been thinking a lot about Hildi these days. And what she and Django (@ジェイミー・フォックス) went through. What they survived and what they conquered. In the name of BLACK LOVE at a time when Black love and marriage was not even legally binding ...I used to say that Olivia Pope was the answer to Broomhilda’s prayers of what might be possible one day. But today I know the dreams of our ancestors were bigger than a white hat. The movement we are in today - that is the answer. We are the answer. To their prayers. And to our own. So we have to keep loving each other. And fighting for each other. And breathing. And donating. And voting. And marching. And calling. And posting. And proclaiming that #blacklivesmatter.
