Hello friends ♥️♥️ we’re back online and feeling really good and refreshed after a really relaxing week. Here’s some pictures/clips of our chilled time together. Just want to say a big thank you to all of you who commented well wishes for Dazzy and I on the last post. We read through them all last night and are so grateful for all the love. ♥️🙏🏻
Darren is doing ok. He’s a bit wobbly on his back legs still but not as bad as he was. The CT scan showed absolutely no abnormalities, and he has a sample pulled from his spinal fluid that also showed no issues. The vet seems to think it could be early onset of degenerative myelopathy, which is explained kind of like MS for dogs. They said it can come on slowly over the next few years although it is unusual in staffies. There’s no other explanation so our best option is just to watch him and see how he goes. He’s currently on pain medication and strong anti inflammatories that are keeping him super comfortable. We will see how he is when we have to remove those in a few days.
The boys are settling into their new place and loving exploring all the new rooms. Their favourite room is the one upstairs with a view out on to the street. 👀😂
